I don't know how it started but I'm in to this new thing where I like to keep my sweatshirt on at the gym. The more I sweat, the more I feel like I'm working and the more I feel like I'm working, the harder I continue to work.
This can be dangerous if you get too hot, but I make sure to drink extra water while I'm wearing my sweatshirt.
I've debated with people in the past the meaning of sweat: when you sweat at the gym, does it mean that you're getting a good work out?
Well, it turns out my new favorite hobby at the gym is doing nothing to help me workout more or lose weight faster :(
Actually, it may be helping me workout, because, as I said, I feel more motivated. But I'm definitely not losing weight faster.
According to MSN, wearing sweats when you work out does nothing more than make you lose more water, which can actually lead to you becoming dehydrated or ill while working out.
The prime temperature for working out is 70 degrees.
